Romanian pilgrim is rescued after injury on Mt Athos

A Romanian pilgrim had to be rescued after sustaining injuries at the summit of Mt Athos in the homonymous monastic community in northern Greece on Wednesday.
The man called for help around 4:30 pm. A total of 10 firefighters carried him to a military helicopter, in order to be transported to a hospital.
