Fifty agroforestry fires were reported across Greece in the past twenty-four hours, as stated by the Fire Brigade. Of these, 39 fires were promptly contained, while firefighting operations are still ongoing for 11 incidents.

In Kinidaros, Naxos, firefighting forces have been reinforced to battle a blaze that broke out in a forest area on Wednesday afternoon. No residential areas are under threat. A total of 33 firefighters are operating at the scene, including a team from the forest commandos, supported by 12 vehicles, 4 aircraft, and 2 helicopters. Local government water trucks are also assisting in the effort.

Meanwhile, the fire that started in rural land in Agios Stefanos, Laconia, is reportedly in remission. Additionally, another fire near the Penteli Monasteri has been brought under partial control, with a force of 40 firefighters deployed alongside 15 vehicles.
