Two minors that fell into Arachthos river were declared brain dead

The two children who fell into the Arachthos River on Wednesday and were being treated at the University Hospital of Patras have been declared brain dead.

This development was confirmed to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) by Andreas Iliadis, director of the Pediatric and Adolescent ICU at the hospital where the children are being treated.

Over the past 24 hours, doctors conducted specific tests twice to assess their brain function, the results of which were, unfortunately, negative.
