Under the coordination of the Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Center, a successful operation was carried out to locate and rescue 50 foreigners aboard a dinghy, in the sea area 43 nautical miles south of the island of Gavdos.
All foreigners, who were picked up by a passing ship with a Singaporean flag, will be transferred to Agia Galini. Winds reaching 4 on the Beaufort scale are blowing in the area.
