"For us, for our government, the support of entrepreneurship, the support of investments, the creation of new job positions and the simultaneous protection of the environment constitute non-negotiable priorities. Every big investment in the country adds job positions, especially in areas which have been affected in the past from the de-industrialisation," underlined Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday, during a visit to the archaeological site of Eretria, on the island of Evia, where he spoke to the citizens.
"I just want you to hold on to our government's commitment: every day we are working to make your life a little better. Whether we're talking about improving wages, tackling high prices, enhancing public healthcare, or upgrading infrastructure, we are now at a point where, having completed two years of our term, many of the initiatives we’ve launched are starting to bear fruit. But high prices are still here, and market oversight and the proper functioning of the market must be top priorities. We will use every tool available to achieve this goal. And we will continue working hard until the end of our four-year term to honour your trust and to provide solutions to problems that are rooted in the past," said the prime minister.
