4.2 magnitude quake jolts Messinia and Laconia, Peloponnese

An earthquake was felt at around 19:50 in areas of Messinia and Laconia, Peloponnese.
According to the revised report by the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located 10 kilometers east-southeast of Pylos, Peloponnese.

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre also measured the quake at 4.2 magnitude, placing the epicenter 19 kilometers south of Messini city.
