Androulakis: The government's attitude towards the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians is offensive

The dramatic events in Gaza, the responsibilities of the international community and the attitude of the government, which he accused of not adopting a position, dominated an interview given by main opposition PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis to SKAI radio on Wednesday.
He described the government's stance as an insult to the Greek people, noting that "the prime minister avoided commenting on Gaza from the platfomr of the UN Security Council."
The main opposition leader reiterated his position that Turkiye could not have space and a role within the European Defence Architecture or access to the financial tools for the joint production of defence equipment.
Regarding PASOK's request for a parliamentary preliminary investigation committee to examine whether former ministers and deputy ministers should be indicted for offences relating to the tragic Tempi train collision, Androulakis noted that "we do not opt for instrumentalisation. We want light to shine and those responsible be brought to justice. We are not a court. We are trying to pave the way for justice. "
