Infracture Min Dimas meets Serbian counterpart Sofronijevic

Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Dimas met with Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijevic on the sidelines of the UNECE Conference, which is taking place in Belgrade. Dimas and his counterpart expressed their intention to deepen cooperation in the field of infrastructure and transport.

Dimas also met with UNECE Secretary General Tatiana Molcean. During his visit to Belgrade, he was the keynote speaker at the Commission's Conference on “ Infrastructure Resilience and Public-Private Partnerships as a Model for Financing Infrastructure Projects”.

Dimas noted that Greece has made significant progress across all sectors and consistently ranks among the EU countries with the highest growth rates. 
He also outlined ongoing infrastructure projects in Greece, highlighted the optimal management of water resources, and referred to railway reform as a “ fundamental priority”. 

According to an announcement by the Ministry, Dimas also referred in his speech to the projects implemented through public-private partnerships.
