The President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yannis Bratakos, held a meeting with the Secretary General of Research and Innovation Tasos Gaitanis.
According to a statement, the meeting explored the strengthening of their cooperation in order to accelerate innovation, link research with production and enhance the competitiveness of Greek businesses.
Gaitanis stated that for the past six years, the government has been providing incentives and supporting the development of start-up entrepreneurship.
Bratakos, in turn, highlighted the importance of leveraging the research activity and technological knowledge produced by universities, research centres, and start-ups for the benefit of the real economy.
