Dendias meets Italian counterpart, signs bilateral agreement on Air Policing

National Defence Minister Nikos Dendias and his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto on Monday "signed an Agreement concerning Matters of Air Policing against Non-Military Air Threats," according to a post by Dendias on the social media platform X.
He noted that this was "an important agreement that further enhances our bilateral defence cooperation."
In an earlier post on Monday, Dendias said that he had met Crosetto at the Italian defence ministry in Rome, in the context of his participation the 2nd Greece-Italy High-Level Cooperation Council, and had "discussed the further enhancement of the bilateral defence cooperation between Greece and Italy, focusing on defence innovation and industry, through the cooperation between our defence ecosystems," as well as exchanging views on regional and international defence and security matters.
