Marinakis: Criminal acts in universities cannot and should not be tolerated by anyone

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Monday, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said during the daily press briefing. He added that the High-Level Cooperation Council between the two countries will follow.
"Tomorrow, the prime minister will pay a visit to Berlin, where he will meet with the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz. Mitsotakis is the first European leader to be received in the Chancellery by Merz. Statements to the press will follow. In the evening, the prime minister will speak as an honorary guest at the annual conference of the Economic Council Germany, where he will be awarded for the government's reforms that put Greece on a growth trajectory," he said.
Marinakis also referred to the measures designed to curb violence in universities, emphasising that "criminal acts in universities cannot and should not be tolerated by anyone."
The government spokesperson also referred to the "My Home II" programme, for which over 6,100 households having already submitted appplications. "The main beneficiaries are the middle class and the lower income groups," he noted.
