Norse Atlantic launches direct route between Los Angeles and Athens

A new direct route connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Athens (ATH) has been launched by Norse Atlantic.
During an event held on Friday, the airline announced that the first flight will depart on June 3, and will operate four times a week with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Fares will start at 269 dollars or 259 euros, with both economy and premium cabin options available.
"We are excited to be the first airline to connect Los Angeles with Athens and Greece,”said Norse Atlantic Airways CEO and founder Bjørn Tore Larsen. “ Athens is a great choice for our business growth and we are pleased to hire local partners in Athens. We believe Norse will bring added value to the Greater Athens tourism industry and continue to grow our presence in the region" he added.
