Exports of Greek alcoholic beverages increased in 2024, despite a downturn in alcoholic beverage trade across the European Union.
As shown by EUROSTAT provisional data, processed by the Greek Federatrion of Spirits Producers (SEAOP), in 2024 the export activity of Greek alcoholic beverages continues to strengthen, surpassing for the second consecutive year, the 100 million euros οmark.

Specifically, compared to 2023, exports of Greek alcoholic beverages to both EU  countries and third countries increased by 7.9% in value-an additional 8.4 million euros-and by 1.5% in volume, equivalent to 0.6 million more kilos. The average selling price also rose by 6.3% in 2024.
An analysis of data from the past five years (post-Covid period) shows a steady increase in the export growth of Greek alcoholic beverages-up 45.4% in value, 4% in volume, and 40% in average selling price.
