Defence Minister Dendias to inaugurate DEFEA 2025

The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, will inaugurate on Tuesday, May 6, at 13:00, the international Defense, Security and Technology exhibition DEFEA 2025 (Defense Exhibition Athens), at the Metropolitan Expo, Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Dendias met with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan.
In a post on X, Dendias stated that they discussed "ways to further strengthen the strategic defense partnership between Greece and Armenia."
Dendias will also meet with the Minister of Defense of Cape Verde, Janine Lélis, with whom he will sign a memorandum of cooperation regarding the provision of assistance in the military education of students from Cape Verde.
At 14:00, Dendias will take part in a discussion on the topic "The new Greek deterrence policy and the 2030 Agenda."
During the exhibition, the Minister of National Defense will tour the exhibitors' booths.
Over 430 exhibitors from 37 countries at this year's DEFEA
The exhibition will run from May 6 to May 8. A total of 436 exhibitors from 37 countries are participating, with 18 national pavilions and 98 official missions from 45 countries. The exhibition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense.
