10th annual EUSAIR forum of the Adriatic-Ionian initiative in Crete

Greece is organising the 10th Annual EUSAIR Forum, which will take place in Chania, Crete, from 5 to 8 May.
The Forum, “ Bridging Horizons: Strengthening Cooperation, Resilience, and Cohesion in the Adriatic-Ionian Region”, is co-organised by the Ministry of National Economy & Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the European Commission.
On the Greek side, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tasos Chatzivasileiou, are participating in the ministerial proceedings of the Forum.
The aim of the Greek Presidency and the Forum is to strengthen regional cooperation in the Adriatic-Ionian region, promote the European perspective of the Western Balkans, emphasise the role of social cohesion, highlight blue skills, address climate change in the revised Action Plan, and connect the EUSAIR with the future Cohesion Policy post-2027.
