Defence Minister Nikos Dendias, accompanied by Deputy Minister Thanassis Davakis, received on Friday UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr. Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber.

As it was announced, the two ministers agreed on the further strengthening of the two countries defence ecosystems (ELKAK-EDGE) and the establishment of a long cooperations within the broader framework of Greece-UAE strategic defence relationship.

The Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Houpis, Major General Ioannis Bouras, General Director of the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA); Ambassador a.h. Michael Spinellis, General Director of the General Directorate of National Defence Policy and International Relations (GDNDPIR) of the Ministry of National Defence; Pantelis Tzortzakis, CEO of the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (ELKAK); and senior officers of the Armed Forces, attended the meeting.
