"This rotten system, this corrupt state of the few and the international alliances of the imperialists are hostile to the people. They cannot be humanized, they are constantly getting worse," the general secretary of the central committee of the communist party KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas, said on Thursday at the May Day strike rally at Syntagma.
"Hope lies in the struggle to overthrow all of this. The working class, the people, can turn it upside down, if they decide to. The current dilemma, the real dilemma of our time, is socialism or barbarism," he added.
