Tsoukalas: PASOK will take an initiative after evaluating the case file

Main opposition PASOK-Movement for Change spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas in an interview on Tuesday with ERTNews on the case file forwarded to Parliament by the appellate judge of Larissa, aiming to investigate potential criminal responsibilities of former Ministers of Infrastructure and Transport, Karamanlis and Spirtzis stated that "whenever a judicial report or case file concerning the Tempi issue is submitted and there are substantial indications of criminal liability, PASOK, after evaluating them, will assess what these liabilities are-whether they are misdemeanors or felonies related to railway safety-and will evidently take the initiative to propose the establishment of a preliminary investigative committee."
"We have, after all, 30 MPs ready to sign the request," he noted, adding: "There are leaks suggesting incriminating evidence against Karamanlis, but we need to wait to examine the case file in detail. If what is being said is confirmed, we will proceed in the manner I previously mentioned."
