Athens Metro to add rides on Authentic Marathon weekend; tram to stop at Fix

The Athens Metro will expand its morning schedule by half an hour and add more train rides on Saturday and Sunday, to accomodate participants in the 41st Athens Marathon-The Authentic, manager STASY said on Friday.
Specifically, STASY said that on Sunday (Nov. 10), Lines 2 & 3 (Red, Blue lines) will start operation at 05:00, instead of at 05:30. Line 1 ("electric train") will start as usual, at 05:00.
On Saturday, STASY will increase the frequency of trains from 14:00 to 19:00, while on Sunday it will do so from 07:00 to the end of the Marathon race on Sunday. It will add two more trains to each of the three metro lines, it said.
Tram
As for the tram running between "Pikrodafni-Syntagma" stops, Hellenic Police has ordered that it ends at "Fix" rather than Syntagma, from 14:00 on Saturday to 20:30 on Sunday.
