A fire department operation to transfer an injured hiker, a 60-year-old woman from Belgium, from the Spilios Agapitos refuge on Mount Olympus to safety was concluded successfully on Monday.
The woman had injured her leg and was taken to a safe location, where she was picked up by an ambulance, following an operation involving 10 fire fighters from the Elassona fire service and the 8th EMAK.
