Storm system 'Atena' will bring bad weather to Greece from Monday night

The storm system 'Atena' is moving east and expected to reach Greece from the Central Mediterranean on Monday night, leading to bad weather conditions until Wednesday afternoon, according to a forecast on Sunday by Greece's National Meteorological Service.
'Atena' is expected to bring strong rain and storms in west, central and northern parts of Greece, as well as the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean. There will also be intense lightning activity, hail and strong, gusty winds.
Strong rain and storms are forecast to begin on Monday until Tuesday afternoon in the areas of the Ionian Islands, Epirus, west Central Greece and the west Peloponnese.
From midday on Tuesday until late in the evening the rain will affect western Macedonia, Thessaly and eastern Central Greece.
From early on Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon, the bad weather will affect central and eastern Macedonia and the Sporades Islands.
From Wednesday morning until the afternoon it will be located in Thrace and the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean.
