Two British tourists injured in car accident in Georgioupoli, Crete

Two British tourists were taken to Rethymno Hospital after being hit by a car in the village of Georgioupoli, Chania, Crete, on Friday at 19:30.
The incident, currently under investigation by the Hellenic Police, occurred under unknown circumstances within Georgioupoli's urban area. Paramedics from the National Emergency Aid Center (EKAV) promptly transferred the two tourists, aged 46 and 54, to Rethymno Hospital. The 46-year-old woman suffered serious injuries while the 54-year-old has abrasions on her hands and feet.
