Sakellaropoulou attends European Public Law Organisation opening ceremony

President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Wednesday attended the opening ceremony of the office of the European Public Law Organisation (EPLO) in Italy.
The ceremony was also attended by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev. Sakellaropoulou was welcomed by the director and board president of EPLO, Professor Spyridonas Flogaitis, the Director of the National Museum of Rome, Stephan Verger and the Head of Diplomatic Protocol, Ambassador Bruno Antonio Pasquino.
The inauguration was followed by a conference on "Reforming the State in the Light of New Challenges", with reference to migration challenges and global health emergencies.
On Thursday, Sakellaropoulou will depart for Florence, where she will participate in the conference "The State of the Union 2024", of the European University Institute of Florence.
