Rally in Keratsini at the spot where Pavlos Fyssas was murdered

A rally to mark the 10-year anniversary since the murder of Pavlos Fyssas has been organised on Monday by friends, relatives and anti-fascist organisations in the suburban district of Keratsini, at the spot where the musician was killed by members of far-right "Golden Dawn", on the road that has since been renamed in his honour as Pavlos Fyssas Avenue.
The police have ordered traffic bans on central roads in the area and the closure of the "Korydallos" and "Maniatika" metro stations from 17:30 until the rally and protest march are over. Trains are to run normally but without stopping at the specific stations.
Similar demonstrations are planned throughout Greece to mark the anniversary.
