Missing woman and son found dead, raising death toll in floods to 14; 3 still missing

A missing woman, 88, and her son, 65, were found dead in the Karditsa region affected by the floods in central Greece, on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Fire Brigade, their bodies were retrieved from a house in Metamorfossi, one of the villages in the Thessaly plain that was submerged by the nearby flooded rivers during the 'Daniel' storm. They had been reported missing on a list released on Saturday.

The discovery raises the number of dead in the floods to 14 and those still missing to 3.
