First ship with humanitarian aid to quake stricken Türkiye to leave on Wednesday for Alexandretta

The first ship carrying humanitarian aid to Türkiye is expected to depart on Wednesday from the port of Keratsini to Alexandretta. According to sources, the ship will carry five trucks with material strictly requested by Türkiye, such as blankets, tents, sleeping bags and chemical toilets.
The specific material weighs 250 cubic metres of which, 240 cubic metres of blankets and sleeping equipment, 2 cubic metres of heating devices, 2 cubic metres of medicines and pharmaceutical material and 6 cubic metres of personal hygiene items.
According to the same sources, an aeroplane loaded with humanitarian aid will depart on Thursday for Syria.
