President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades will pay an official visit to Athens on Wednesday, February 1, it was announced on Saturday.

In a statement issued by the Cypriot president's press office in Athens, Anastasiades will meet with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

An agreement for the mutual recognition of course degrees is expected to be signed by Cyprus' Minister of Education, Culture, Sport & Youth, Prodromos Prodromou, and Greek Minister of Education & Religious Affairs, Niki Kerameus.
