Former PASOK MP and party founding member Theodoros Katsanevas, 74, dies in Athens

Veteran politician and founding member of PASOK party Theodoros Katsanevas, 74, died in Athens, it was reported on Saturday.
Katsanevas had been hospitalized for treatment against Covid-19.
Born in 1947, he studied economics in Athens and labor relations in the UK. He was married to the daughter of former prime minister and PASOK founder Andreas Papandreou.
In 1981, when PASOK first came to power, Katsanevas was instrumental in drafting the party's government policy on social issues, and he was in that year appointed to the presidency of the Manpower Employment Authority (OAED) until 1985.
He run in 6 consecutive national elections as party MP from 1989 to 2000.
