'Mein Schiff 6' cruiseship arrives at Piraeus port

The "Mein Schiff 6" cruiseship arrived at the port of Piraeus early on Tuesday morning after 12 crew members of the cruiseship were found by Greek authorities to have tested positive for coronavirus during random testing.
The ship will be inspected by a team from the National Public Health Organisation (NPHO). In the meantime, nobody is being allowed to disembark from the ship.
TUI Cruises said that repeat tests on the 12 showed that six had no trace of the virus and the other six were awaiting the results of testing on Tuesday morning.
The ship was on cruise to Iraklio, Piraeus and Corfu when it agreed with Greek authorities to return to Piraeus for further tests and isolated the 12 crew members. The measures of hygiene on the ship and the cleaning protocol give no reason to fear possible transmission to the passengers, other crew members and staff, the company said, as it has a comprehensive system to deal with possible Covid-19 cases on board.
The cruiseship is carrying 922 passengers and 666 crew and staff.
