The group of six comprises four people aged 19 to 20 who were arrested at Lesvos and two 17-year-olds who were arrested at Katerini and Thessaloniki, where they had been transferred as part of a group of 204 unancompanied minors. All those arrested are of Afghan nationality.
Earlier on Wednesday, Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisohoidis had announced that "the Moria arsonists are in detention," and later he congratulated Lesvos' police and security directorate.
