PM Mitsotakis first meeting at Corsica is with Cargese Mayor Francois Garidacci

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' first meeting after his arrival at Corsica on Thursday for the MED7 Group meeting, was with Mayor of the Cargese community Francois Garidacci, Deputy Mayor Emmanuelle Frimigacci-Peroni and Marie-Louise Zanettacci, both of Greek descent. 
During their meeting, Mitsotakis was briefed on the modern Greek heritage in Corsica, while exploring ways to strengthen ties between the Cargese community and Greece.
Garidacci has been the Mayor of Cargese since 2001 and also oversaw the twinning of his town with Oitylo, in the Lakonia municipality, Peloponnese, government sources pointed out. 
Frimigacci-Peroni has been the Deputy Mayor since 2014 and Zanettacci is responsible for the maintenance of the Agios Spiridon Catholic Church there.
