There is no evidence to suggest that the death of a 17-year-old Italian girl was caused by the Ebola virus, National Public Health Organisation infectious diseases experts said on Wednesday.
The girl was rushed to Nikaia Hospital from the Aegean island of Naxos with signs of acute septicemia on Tuesday but doctors were unable to save her.
According to experts, the results of tests were not compatible with an Ebola infection and NPHO scientists are continuing to investigate the incident.
