PM Tsipras in London for Western Balkans Summit

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is in London to participate in the Western Balkans Summit, the fifth summit convened under the Berlin Process.
It is the first time that a Greek prime minister is invited to participate in the Berlin Process, an initiative inaugurated by German Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2014.
The summit kicked off at 15:00 Greek time at Lancaster House, with UK Prime Minister Theresa May, the German chancellor and the leaders of all Balkan states attending.
Arriving at Lancaster House, European Commission Vice President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini referred to the Athens-Skopje agreement on the name deal, which she called a "historic agreement and a historic step" that is recognised throughout Europe.
At noon, Tsipras attended a working lunch with all the other leaders of the countries participating in the summit, along with heads of the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Regional Cooperation Council’s (RCC) Secretary General Goran Svilanovic and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office.
The summit will conclude with a reception in the presence of Charles, Prince of Wales.
