Region of Crete, French Institute of Greece agree to work on culture and tourism

The Region of Crete signed a three-year agreement on Friday with the French Institute of Greece, allowing them to work together on culture and tourism development.
The agreement aims at boosting alternative cultural tourism on the island including events at archaeological museums, and the holding of concerts, exhibitions and performances at ancient theaters.
Among the first events to be held as part of the agreement is a photo exhibition by Philippe Gras, presenting the events of May 1968 in France, and the showing of the French documentary "A Voix Haute" at the Chania film festival.
