China's non-manufacturing PMI at 50.5 in June

BEIJING, (Xinhua) -- The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's non-manufacturing sector came in at 50.5 in June, up 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, official data showed Monday.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while below 50 reflects contraction.
The sub-index for the construction sector came in at 52.8 in June, up 1.8 percentage points from the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The service sector continued to expand, with its sub-index standing at 50.1 in June, the data showed.
