The Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA) is organizing a Conference on "The role of information in the new Balkan reality", in Thessaloniki, on March 20, 2023.
The Conference is taking place in the framework of the AMNA’s presidency of the Association of the Balkans News Agencies - Southeast Europe (ABNA-SE). Presidents and General Managers of the Balkan News Agencies and other European and Mediterranean Agencies will participate in the proceedings of the Conference.

The sections of the Conference are as follows:

• The geopolitical developments in SE Europe and the importance of information.
• The road of the Western Balkans to Europe
• Interconnection networks - Bridges of cooperation and development.

In the framework of the proceedings of the Conference, it will be examined the role of information in the SE Europe of the asymmetric reality of the 21st century, the European perspective of the Western Balkans, the formation of the new energy map in the region and the importance of the interconnection of networks - transport, trade, telecommunications, tourism - for development.

The conference will be held in the Emilios Riadis' Multipurpose Hall, TIF HELEXPO Thessaloniki.
