Two cruiseships bring 4,000 tourists to Hania, Crete

ANA-MPA/ Crete received over 4,000 tourists with the arrival on Friday of two cruiseships that docked in Souda port and in the old port of the city of Hania.
The "Navigator of the Seas" sailed from Kusadasi, Turkey and arrived in Souda port on Friday. The vessel has the same itinerary every Friday and departs at 3:00 p.m. weekly.
The cruiseship "Azamara" anchored outside the Venetian port of Hania and the 605 passengers were taken to the port with boats. The vessel had sailed from the Greek port city of Nafplio. "Azamara" will leave at 6:00 p.m for Israel.
Approximately 14,000 cruiseship tourists from 62 nationalities have already visited the area, most of them from the United States.
