Recapitalisation of 4 large Greek banks via EFSF

AMNA--The recapitalisation of the four largest Greek banks was completed on Monday with a total of 18 billion euros from the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF)
With the recapitalisation downpayment, the four banks will acquire the necessary funds for their smooth operation, according to a finance ministry announcement.
Specifically, National Bank received 7.43 billion euros; Alpha Bank 1.9 billion, Eurobank 3.97 billion and Piraeus Bank 4.7 billion euros.amna
